Nikki Whiting*
Associate – Medical Law Department
Nikki Whiting joined McLaughlin & Riordan in 2009.
Nikki was initially admitted as a solicitor in South Africa in 1992 and thereafter in Australia in 2002. With over 17 years of experience, she has practised in diverse areas of the law such as public interest, commercial, professional indemnity and human rights. For the past 12 years, she has specialised in the area of complex litigation.
Nikki has also acted for both individuals and public and private organisations such as insurance companies, financial institutions and government departments.

Natalie Merunovich*
Senior Associate – Medical Law Department
Natalie Merunovich joined McLaughlin & Riordan in 2008 and has almost 10 years experience specialising in complex lawsuits.
Natalie has practiced law for 12 years and has practiced exclusively in this specialised area of common law / tort law. She has successfully settled over 70 cases covering a variety of areas.
After being admitted to practice in 1997 she commenced working for a suburban legal practice specialising in general commercial litigation.
In 2000 Natalie joined Charlton Shearman Read, Solicitors, and began working, primarily, in this complex specialised area of litigation.
Natalie’s solid academic background and her depth of knowledge is second to none, and makes her a formidable advocate for her clients. She is held in high regard by her peers in this highly specialised area of law.
Natalie has published several articles and has regularly been invited to present seminars to practitioners who work in her specialised area of law.
